Have you ever looked back on your life and thought about the different seasons you have been through? Some were probably harder than others, and some were probably easier. You may also notice that you were capable of doing a lot more during the easier seasons of your life than you were during the difficult ones.
I like to look at my life in seasons because it reminds me to manage my expectations accordingly. I have learned that I shouldn’t beat myself up for not being able to accomplish more during the difficult seasons of my life. Knowing that there is a season for everything helps me to manage my expectations of myself.
